(41) He sends down water from the cloud, then watercourses flow (with water) according to their measure, and the torrent bears along the swelling foam, and from what they melt in the fire for the sake of making ornaments or apparatus arises a scum like it; thus does Allah compare truth and falsehood; then as for the scum, it passes away as a worthless thing; and as for that which profits the people, it tarries in the earth; thus does Allah set forth parables.

(42) And you dwell in the abodes of those who were unjust to themselves, and it is clear to you how We dealt with them and We have made (them) examples to you.

(43) On the day when the earth shall be changed into a different earth, and the heavens (as well), and they shall come forth before Allah, the One, the Supreme.

(44) And the dwellers of the thicket also were most surely unjust.

(45) And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles;

(46) Therefore enter the gates of hell, to abide therein; so certainly evil is the dwelling place of the proud.

(47) All do We aid-- these as well as those-- out of the bounty of your Lord, and the bounty of your Lord is not confined.

(48) And when We said to you: Surely your Lord encompasses men; and We did not make the vision which We showed you but a trial for men and the cursed tree in the Quran as well; and We cause them to fear, but it only adds to their great inordinacy.

(49) And We said to the Israelites after him: Dwell in the land: and when the promise of the next life shall come to pass, we will bring you both together in judgment.

(50) (These are) they whose labor is lost in this world's life and they think that they are well versed in skill of the work of hands.
