Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
137.وَكَذَ‌ٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
Transliteration:Wakathalika zayyana likatheerin mina almushrikeena qatla awladihim shurakaohum liyurdoohum waliyalbisoo AAalayhim deenahum walaw shaa Allahu ma faAAaloohu fatharhum wama yaftaroona
Yusuf Ali:Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.
Urdu:اور اسی طرح بہت سے مشرکوں کے خیال میں ان کے شریکوں نے اپنی اولاد کے قتل کرنے کو خوشنما بنا دیا ہے تاکہ انہیں ہلاکت میں مبتلا کر دیں اور ان پر ان کے دین کو مشتبہ بنا دیں اگر الله تعالیٰ چاہتا تو ایسا نہ کرتے سو انہیں چھوڑ دو اور جو وہ افتراء کر تے ہیں
