(142) Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves.

(143) With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

(145) (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable (Omnipotent).

(146) O assembly of jinn and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass beyond (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)!

(147) There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.

(148) If We willed, We verily could make it salt (and undrinkable): why then do you not give thanks (to Allah)?

(149) That (this) is indeed an honourable recitation (the Noble Qur'an).

(150) His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. It is He Who gives life and causes death: and He is able to do all things.
