(61) If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). (62) Is then one brought up among trinkets, and unable to give a clear account in a dispute (to be associated with Allah)?

(63) And they make into females angels who themselves serve Allah. Did they witness their creation? Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be called to account!

(64) The (Qur'an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account.

(65) They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment.

(66) We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account).

(67) Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised!

(68) Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-

(69) How many populations that insolently opposed the Command of their Lord and of His messengers, did We not then call to account,- to severe account?- and We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment.

(70) Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"
