(27) So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya (John), and cured his wife (to bear a child) for him. Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us.

(28) "Go you with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them, then draw back from them, and see what (answer) they return."

(29) "But verily! I am going to send him a present, and see with what (answer) the messengers return."

(30) There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: "Drive out the family of Lut (Lot) from your city Verily, these are men who want to be clean and pure!"
