(53) These! For them will be 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them; therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent Murtafaq (dwelling, resting place.)!
(54) Did they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power either to harm them or to do them good?
(55) [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you?
(56) And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.
(57) And she who guarded her chastity [Virgin Maryam (Mary)]: We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) [through Our Ruh - Jibril (Gabriel)], and We made her and her son ['Îsa (Jesus)] a sign for Al-'Alamin (the mankind and jinn).
(58) He calls besides Allah unto that which can neither harm him, nor profit him. That is a straying far away.
(59) He calls unto him whose harm is nearer than his profit: certainly, an evil Maula (patron) and certainly an evil friend!
(60) These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord: then as for those who disbelieved, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling water will be poured down over their heads.
