(1) Have you not considered him (Namrud) who disputed with Ibrahim about his Lord, because Allah had given him the kingdom? Ibrahim said: So surely Allah causes the sun to rise from the east, then make it rise from the west; thus he who disbelieved was confounded; and Allah does not guide aright the unjust people.

(2) O followers of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with the falsehood and hide the truth while you know?

(3) Nay, it shall come on them all of a sudden and cause them to become confounded, so they shall not have the power to avert it, nor shall they be respited.

(4) Though they were before this, before it was sent down upon them, confounded in sure despair.

(5) Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers.
