This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins).

(2) It is they who are the believers in truth. For them are grades of dignity with their Lord, and Forgiveness and a generous provision (Paradise).

(3) So they [Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog)] could not scale it or dig through it.

(4) And those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.
