(1) And when Ibrahim said: My Lord, make it a secure town and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the last day. He said: And whoever disbelieves, I will grant him enjoyment for a short while, then I will drive him to the chastisement of the fire; and it is an evil destination.

(2) A brief enjoyment! then their abode is hell, and evil is the resting-place.

(3) And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it, then eat it with enjoyment and with wholesome result.

(4) Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases; and they rejoice in this world's life, and this world's life is nothing compared with the hereafter but a temporary enjoyment.

(5) A little enjoyment and they shall have a painful punishment.

(6) But (by) mercy from Us and for enjoyment till a time.

(7) O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle;
