(1) Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them.

(2) The lightning almost takes away their sight; whenever it shines on them they walk in it, and when it becomes dark to them they stand still; and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have taken away their hearing and their sight; surely Allah has power over all things.

(3) And when Ibrahim and Ismail raised the foundations of the House: Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the hearing, the Knowing:

(4) If then they believe as you believe in Him, they are indeed on the right course, and if they turn back, then they are only in great opposition, so Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the hearing, the Knowing.

(5) Whoever then alters it after he has heard it, the sin of it then is only upon those who alter it; surely Allah is hearing, Knowing.

(6) And make not Allah because of your swearing (by Him) an obstacle to your doing good and guarding (against evil) and making peace between men, and Allah is hearing, Knowing.

(7) And if they have resolved on a divorce, then Allah is surely hearing, Knowing.

(8) And fight in the way of Allah, and know that Allah is hearing, Knowing.

(9) There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is hearing, Knowing.

(10) Offspring one of the other; and Allah is hearing, Knowing.
