(2) Ye will not be able to deal equally between (your) wives, however much ye wish (to do so). But turn not altogether away (from one), leaving her as in suspense. If ye do good and keep from evil, lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
(3) That He might cause the Truth to triumph and bring vanity to naught, however much the guilty might oppose;
(4) (O Qureysh!) If ye sought a judgment, now hath the judgment come unto you. And if ye cease (from persecuting the believers) it will be better for you, but if ye return (to the attack) We also shall return. And your host will avail you naught, however numerous it be, and (know) that Allah is with the believers (in His Guidance).
(5) Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah disdaineth (aught) save that He shall perfect His light, however much the disbelievers are averse.
(6) He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse.
(7) And Allah will vindicate the Truth by His words, however much the guilty be averse.
(8) Therefor (O believers) pray unto Allah, making religion pure for Him (only), however much the disbelievers be averse -
(9) Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light however much the disbelievers are averse.
(10) He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it conqueror of all religion however much idolaters may be averse.
