(1) And to Samood (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; clear proof indeed has come to you from your Lord; this is (as) Allah's she-camel for you-- a sign, therefore leave her alone to pasture on Allah's earth, and do not touch her with any harm, otherwise painful chastisement will overtake you.

(2) And, O my people! this will be (as) Allah's she-camel for you, a sign; therefore leave her to pasture on Allah's earth and do not touch her with evil, for then a near chastisement will overtake you.

(3) And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture).

(4) He it is Who sends down water from the cloud for you; it gives drink, and by it (grow) the trees upon which you pasture.

(5) Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding.

(6) And Dawood and Sulaiman when they gave judgment concerning the field when the people's sheep pastured therein by night, and We were bearers of witness to their judgment.
