(1) And when We brought you through the sea and rescued you, and drowned the folk of Pharaoh in your sight.

(3) We should have invented a lie against Allah if we returned to your religion after Allah hath rescued us from it. It is not for us to return to it unless Allah our Lord should (so) will. Our Lord comprehendeth all things in knowledge. In Allah do we put our trust. Our Lord! Decide with truth between us and our folk, for Thou art the best of those who make decision.

(4) And when they forgot that whereof they had been reminded, We rescued those who forbade wrong, and visited those who did wrong with dreadful punishment because they were evil-livers.

(5) Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there.

(6) And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples.

(7) O mankind! A similitude is coined, so pay ye heed to it: Lo! those on whom ye call beside Allah will never create a fly though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly took something from them, they could not rescue it from it. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought!

(8) And We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and made of it a portent for the peoples.

(9) Is he on whom the word of doom is fulfilled (to be helped), and canst thou (O Muhammad) rescue him who is in the Fire?

(10) Lo! We sent a storm of stones upon them (all) save the family of Lot, whom We rescued in the last watch of the night,
