(1) Count ye the slaking of a pilgrim's thirst and tendance of the Inviolable Place of Worship as (equal to the worth of) him who believeth in Allah and the Last Day, and striveth in the way of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.

(2) Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are they who are triumphant.

(3) Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.

(4) And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein.

(5) Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy,

(6) Whoso bringeth a good deed will have better than its worth; and such are safe from fear that Day.

(7) One of the two women said: O my father! Hire him! For the best (man) that thou canst hire in the strong, the trustworthy.

(8) Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.

(9) And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy;

(10) And He it is Who sendeth down the saving rain after they have despaired, and spreadeth out His mercy. He is the Protecting Friend, the Praiseworthy.
