Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.

(33) We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.

(34) He it is Who showeth you his Signs, and sendeth down sustenance for you from the sky: but only those receive admonition who turn (to Allah).

(35) Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition!

(36) Giving good news and admonition: yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not.

(37) Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

(38) Do they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?

(39) And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition?

(40) And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
