(33) Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.

(34) Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Guardian and Disposer of all affairs.

(35) And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs.

(36) Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance;

(37) But indeed if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs.

(38) The Way of Allah, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Behold (how) all affairs tend towards Allah!

(39) And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences.

(40) Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)?
