(101) Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Gracious (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrate and weeping.

(102) Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein.

(103) And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers or disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)."

(104) And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone.

(105) Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Gracious (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).

(106) Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the best Names.

(107) We know very well what they will say, when the best among them in knowledge and wisdom will say: "You stayed no longer than a day!"

(108) And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrahim (Abraham) his (portion of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him (as to his Belief in the Oneness of Allah).

(109) And We bestowed upon him Ishaq (Isaac), and (a grandson) Ya'qub (Jacob). Each one We made righteous.

(110) And (remember) Zakariyya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the best of the inheritors."
