(181) O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them; Allah knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers send them not back to the disbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give them (the disbelievers) that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr ) and let them (the disbelievers) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allah, He judges between you. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
(182) That is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Mighty Grace.
(183) And when they see some merchandise or some amusement [beating of Tambur (drum) etc.] they disperse headlong to it, and leave you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) standing [while delivering Jumu'ah religious talk (Khutbah)]. Say: "That which Allah has is better than any amusement or merchandise! And Allah is the best of providers."
(184) Who has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;
(185) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Tell me! If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us - who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?"
(186) Verily, your Lord is the best Knower of him who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the best Knower of those who are guided.
(187) The best among them said: "Did I not tell you: why say you not: Insha' Allah (If Allah wills)."
(188) 'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.'"
(189) If they (non-Muslims) had believed in Allah, and went on the Right Way (i.e. Islam) We would surely have bestowed on them water (rain) in abundance.
(190) So We did measure; and We are the best to measure (the things).
