(71) And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever).

(72) And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you. What! Then if you die, will they abide?

(73) O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage.

(74) And (as for) those who fly in Allah's way and are then slain or die, Allah will most certainly grant them a goodly sustenance, and most surely Allah is the best Giver of sustenance.

(75) And He it is Who has brought you to life, then He will cause you to die, then bring you to life (again); most surely man is ungrateful.

(76) Then after that you will most surely die.

(77) There is naught but our life in this world; we die and we live and we shall not be raised again.

(78) (As for) the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, (giving) a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the last day, and let a party of believers witness their chastisement.

(79) And if the truth be on their side, they come to him quickly, obedient.

(80) And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths that if you command them they would certainly go forth. Say: Swear not; reasonable obedience (is desired); surely Allah is aware of what you do.
