(24) They said: Hast thou come unto us to pervert us from that (faith) in which we found our fathers, and that you two may own the place of greatness in the land? We will not believe you two.

(25) And ye shall know to whom a punishment that will confound him cometh, and upon whom a lasting doom will fall.

(26) And the (awful) Cry overtook those who did wrong, so that morning found them prostrate in their dwellings,

(27) And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Shu'eyb and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; and the (Awful) Cry seized those who did injustice, and morning found them prostrate in their dwellings,

(28) They said: The penalty for it! He in whose bag (the cup) is found, he is the penalty for it. Thus we requite wrong-doers.

(29) He said: Allah forbid that we should seize save him with whom we found our property; then truly we should be wrong-doers.

(30) And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay.
