(11) And in some parts of the night (also) offer the Salat (prayer) with it (i.e. recite the Qur'an in the prayer), as an additional prayer (Tahajjud optional prayer - Nawafil) for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم). It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqam Mahmud (a station of praise and glory, i.e. the honour of intercession on the Day of Resurrection.) .

(14) And they say: "The Most Gracious (Allah) has begotten a son (or children)." glory to Him! They [whom they call children of Allah i.e. the angels, 'Îsa (Jesus) - son of Maryam (Mary), 'Uzair (Ezra)], are but honoured slaves.

(16) Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that do anything of that? glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him).
(17) Whosoever desires honour, (power and glory), then to Allah belong all honour, power and glory [and one can get honour, power and glory only by obeying and worshipping Allah (Alone)]. And the plotting of such will perish.
(18) glory be to Him Who has created all the pairs of that which the earth produces, as well as of their own (human) kind (male and female), and of that which they know not.
(19) Had Allah willed to take a son (or offspring), He could have chosen whom He willed out of those whom He created. But glory be to Him! (He is above such things). He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible .
(20) In order that you may mount on their backs, and then may remember the Favour of your Lord when you mount thereon, and say: "glory to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts).
