(775) Or is it that you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt?

(776) And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes (through hatred) when they hear the Reminder (the Qur'an), and they say: "Verily, he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is a madman!"

(777) Thamud and 'Ad people denied the Qari'ah (the striking Hour of Judgement)!

(778) As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the awful cry!

(779) That this is verily, the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibril (Gabriel) or Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم which he has brought from Allah].

(780) And if he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah جل جلاله),
