(14) At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of lut,

(15) lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not:

(16) They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening.

(17) But We delivered him and (his nephew) lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations.

(18) And to lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people.

(19) Those of Abraham and lut;

(20) O ye who believe! enter not houses other than your own, until ye have asked permission and saluted those in them: that is best for you, in order that ye may heed (what is seemly).
