(11) Allah puts forward the example of (two men - a believer and a disbeliever); a slave (disbeliever) under the possession of another, he has no power of any sort, and (the other), a man (believer) on whom We have bestowed a good provision from Us, and he spends thereof secretly and openly. Can they be equal? (By no means). All the praises and thanks are to Allah. Nay! (But) most of them know not.
(12) And say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has not begotten a son (or offspring), and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Wali (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all magnificence, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is the Most Great)]."
(13) All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Book (the Qur'an), and has not placed therein any crookedness.
(14) Then he came out to his people from Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room), and he told them by signs to glorify Allah's praises in the morning and in the afternoon.
(15) So bear patiently (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) what they say, and glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun, and before its setting, and during some hours of the night, and at the ends of the day (an indication for the five compulsory congregational prayers), that you may become pleased (with the reward which Allah shall give you).
(16) They (i.e. the angels) glorify His praises night and day, (and) they never slacken (to do so).

(18) And they are guided (in this world) unto goodly speech (i.e. La ilaha illallah, Alhamdu lillah, recitation of the Qur'an, etc.) and they are guided to the Path of Him (i.e. Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism), Who is Worthy of all praises.
(19) And when you have embarked on the ship, you and whoever is with you, then say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has saved us from the people who are Zalimun (i.e. oppressors, wrong-doers, polytheists, those who join others in worship with Allah).
(20) And put your trust (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves,
