(81) And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure belonging to them, and their father was a righteous man; so your Lord desired that they should attain their maturity and take out their treasure, a mercy from your Lord, and I did not do it of my own accord. This is the significance of that with which you could not have patience.

(82) Abiding therein; they shall not desire removal from them.

(83) But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition,

(84) Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish;

(85) Musa said to them: Woe to you! do not forge a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you by a punishment, and he who forges (a lie) indeed fails to attain (his desire).

(86) And they desired a war on him, but We made them the greatest losers.

(87) Whenever they will desire to go forth from it, from grief, they shall be turned back into it, and taste the chastisement of burning.

(88) And We did not send before you any apostle or prophet, but when he desired, the Shaitan made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the Shaitan casts, then does Allah establish His communications, and Allah is Knowing, Wise,

(89) And the chiefs of those who disbelieved from among his people said: He is nothing but a mortal like yourselves who desires that he may have superiority over you, and if Allah had pleased, He could certainly have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our fathers of yore:

(90) And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside.
