(31) And were it not that there should befall them a disaster for what their hands have sent before, then they should say: Our Lord! why didst Thou not send to us an apostle so that we should have followed thy communications and been of the believers!

(32) Then turn thy face straight to the right religion before there come from Allah the day which cannot be averted; on that day they shall become separated.

(33) O you who believe! be not like those who spoke evil things of Musa, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah.

(34) He said: Then by thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all,

(35) Except thy servants from among them, the purified ones.

(36) Say: O Allah! Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen! Thou (only) judgest between thy servants as to that wherein they differ.

(37) Those who bear the power and those around Him celebrate the praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask protection for those who believe: Our Lord! Thou embracest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefore grant protection to those who turn (to Thee) and follow thy way, and save them from the punishment of the hell:

(38) He knows the stealthy looks and that which the breasts conceal.

(39) And when We show favor to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications.

(40) And We have enjoined on man doing of good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reaches forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for thy favor which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases Thee and do good to me in respect of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit.
