| 45. | وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا |
| Transliteration: | Waitha qarata alqurana jaAAalna baynaka wabayna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati hijaban mastooran |
| Yusuf Ali: | When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible: |
| Shakir: | And when you recite the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter a hidden barrier; |
| Pickthall: | And when thou recitest the Qur'an we place between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier; |
| Mohsin Khan: | And when you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil (or screen their hearts, so they hear or understand it not). |
| Saheeh: | And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition. |
| Urdu: | اورجب تو قرآن پڑھتا ہے ہم تیرے اور ان لوگو ں کے درمیان جو آخرت کو نہیں مانتے ایک چھپا ہو ا پردہ کر دیتے ہیں |
