| 74. | ۞ وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ آزَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا آلِهَةً ۖ إِنِّي أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ |
| Transliteration: | Waith qala ibraheemu liabeehi azara atattakhithu asnaman alihatan innee araka waqawmaka fee dalalin mubeenin |
| Yusuf Ali: | Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error." |
| Shakir: | And when Ibrahim said to his sire, Azar: Do you take idols for gods? Surely I see you and your people in manifest error. |
| Pickthall: | (Remember) when Abraham said unto his father Azar: Takest thou idols for gods? Lo! I see thee and thy folk in error manifest. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father Azar: "Do you take idols as alihah (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in manifest error. " |
| French: | (Rappelle le moment) où Abraham dit à `Azar, son père: «Prends-tu des idoles comme divinités? Je te vois, toi et ton peuple, dans un égarement évident!» |
| Spanish: | Y cuando Abraham dijo a su padre Azar: «¿Tomas a los ídolos como dioses? Sí, veo que tú y tu pueblo estáis evidentemente extraviados». |
| Indonesian: | Dan (ingatlah) di waktu Ibrahim berkata kepada bapaknya Aazar : "Pantaskah kamu menjadikan berhala-berhala sebagai tuhan-tuhan? Sesungguhnya aku melihat kamu dan kaummu dalam kesesatan yang nyata".

| Malay:: | Dan (ingatlah) ketika Nabi Ibrahim berkata kepada bapanya Aazar: Patutkah ayah menjadikan berhala-berhala sebagai tuhan-tuhan? Sesungguhnya aku melihatmu dan kaummu dalam kesesatan yang nyata.

| German: | Und als Ibrahim zu seinem Vater Azar sagte: "Nimmst du (denn) Götzenbilder zu Göttern? Gewiß, ich sehe dich und dein Volk in deutlichem Irrtum." |
| Russian: | Вот Ибрахим (Авраам) сказал своему отцу Азару: «Неужели ты считаешь идолов богами? Я вижу, что ты и твой народ находитесь в очевидном заблуждении». |
| Bosnian: | A kad Ibrahim reče svome ocu Azeru: "Zar kumire smatraš bogovima?! Vidim da ste i ti i narod tvoj u pravoj zabludi." |
| Urdu: | اور یاد کر جب ابراہیم نے اپنے باپ آزر سے کہا کیا بتوں کو خدا جانتاہے میں تجھے اور تیرے قوم کو صریح گمراہی میں دیکھتا ہوں |

| 75. | وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوقِنِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Wakathalika nuree ibraheema malakoota alssamawati waalardi waliyakoona mina almooqineena |
| Yusuf Ali: | So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude. |
| Shakir: | And thus did We show Ibrahim the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and that he might be of those who are sure. |
| Pickthall: | Thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he might be of those possessing certainty: |
| Mohsin Khan: | Thus did we show Ibrahim (Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he be one of those who have Faith with certainty. |
| French: | Ainsi avons-Nous montré à Abraham le royaume des cieux et de la terre, afin qu'il fût de ceux qui croient avec conviction. |
| Spanish: | Y así mostramos a Abraham el reino de los cielos y de la tierra, para que fuera de los convencidos. |
| Indonesian: | Dan demikianlah Kami perlihatkan kepada Ibrahim tanda-tanda keagungan (Kami yang terdapat) di langit dan bumi, dan (Kami memperlihatkannya) agar Ibrahim itu termasuk orang-orang yang yakin.

| Malay:: | Dan demikianlah Kami perlihatkan kepada Nabi Ibrahim kebesaran dan kekuasaan (Kami) di langit dan di bumi dan supaya menjadilah dia dari orang-orang yang percaya dengan sepenuh-penuh yakin.

| German: | Und so zeigten Wir Ibrahim das Reich der Himmel und der Erde, - und damit er zu den Überzeugten gehöre. |
| Russian: | Так Мы показали Ибрахиму (Аврааму) царство небес и земли, дабы он стал одним из убежденных. |
| Bosnian: | I Mi pokazasmo Ibrahimu carstvo nebesa i Zemlje da bi čvrsto vjerovao. |
| Urdu: | اور ہم نے اسی طرح ابراھیم کو آسمانوں اور زمین کے عجائبات دکھائے ابور تاکہ وہ یقین کرنے والوں میں سے ہو جائے |

| 76. | فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَىٰ كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَا أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Falamma janna AAalayhi allaylu raa kawkaban qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qala la ohibbu alafileena |
| Yusuf Ali: | When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." |
| Shakir: | So when the night over-shadowed him, he saw a star; said he: Is this my Lord? So when it set, he said: I do not love the setting ones. |
| Pickthall: | When the night grew dark upon him he beheld a star. He said: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: I love not things that set. |
| Mohsin Khan: | When the night covered him over with darkness he saw a star. He said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "I like not those that set." |
| French: | Quand la nuit l'enveloppa, il observa une étoile, et dit: «Voilà mon Seigneur!» Puis, lorsqu'elle disparut, il dit: «Je n'aime pas les choses qui disparaissent». |
| Spanish: | Cuando cerró la noche sobre él, vio una estrella y dijo: «¡Éste es mi Señor!». Pero, cuando se puso, dijo: «No amo a los que se ponen». |
| Indonesian: | Ketika malam telah menjadi gelap, dia melihat sebuah bintang (lalu) dia berkata: "Inilah Tuhanku" Tetapi tatkala bintang itu tenggelam dia berkata: "Saya tidak suka kepada yang tenggelam".

| Malay:: | Maka ketika dia berada pada waktu malam yang gelap, dia melihat sebuah bintang (bersinar-sinar), lalu dia berkata: Inikah Tuhanku? Kemudian apabila bintang itu terbenam, dia berkata pula: Aku tidak suka kepada yang terbenam hilang.

| German: | Als die Nacht über ihn hereinbrach, sah er einen Himmelskörper. Er sagte: "Das ist mein Herr." Als er aber unterging, sagte er: "Ich liebe nicht diejenigen, die untergehen'." |
| Russian: | Когда ночь покрыла его своим мраком, он увидел звезду и сказал: «Вот мой Господь!». Когда же она закатилась, он сказал: «Я не люблю тех, кто закатывается». |
| Bosnian: | I kad nastupi noć, on ugleda zvijezdu i reče: "Ovo je Gospodar moj!" A pošto zađe, reče: "Ne volim one koji zalaze!" |
| Urdu: | پھر جب رات نے اس ہر اندھیرا کیا اس نے ایک ستارہ دیکھا کہا یہ میرا رب ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا تو کہا میں غائب ہونے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا |

| 77. | فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمْ يَهْدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّالِّينَ |
| Transliteration: | Falamma raa alqamara bazighan qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qala lain lam yahdinee rabbee laakoonanna mina alqawmi alddalleena |
| Yusuf Ali: | When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray." |
| Shakir: | Then when he saw the moon rising, he said: Is this my Lord? So when it set, he said: If my Lord had not guided me I should certainly be of the erring people. |
| Pickthall: | And when he saw the moon uprising, he exclaimed: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: Unless my Lord guide me, I surely shall become one of the folk who are astray. |
| Mohsin Khan: | When he saw the moon rising up, he said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among the people who went astray." |
| French: | Lorsqu'ensuite il observa la lune se levant, il dit: «Voilà mon Seigneur!» Puis, lorsqu'elle disparut, il dit: «Si mon Seigneur ne me guide pas, je serai certes du nombre des gens égarés». |
| Spanish: | Cuando vio la luna que salía, dijo: «Éste es mi Señor». Pero, cuando se puso, dijo: «Si no me dirige mi Señor, voy a ser, ciertamente, de los extraviados». |
| Indonesian: | Kemudian tatkala dia melihat bulan terbit dia berkata: "Inilah Tuhanku". Tetapi setelah bulan itu terbenam dia berkata: "Sesungguhnya jika Tuhanku tidak memberi petunjuk kepadaku, pastilah aku termasuk orang-orang yang sesat".

| Malay:: | Kemudian apabila dilihatnya bulan terbit (menyinarkan cahayanya), dia berkata: Inikah Tuhanku? Maka setelah bulan itu terbenam, berkatalah dia: Demi sesungguhnya, jika aku tidak diberikan petunjuk oleh Tuhanku, nescaya menjadilah aku dari kaum yang sesat.

| German: | Als er dann den Mond aufgehen sah, sagte er: "Das ist mein Herr." Als er aber unterging, sagte er: "Wenn mein Herr mich nicht rechtleitet, werde ich ganz gewiß zum irregehenden Volk gehören." |
| Russian: | Когда он увидел восходящую луну, то сказал: «Вот мой Господь!». Когда же она закатилась, он сказал: «Если мой Господь не наставит меня на прямой путь, то я стану одним из заблудших людей». |
| Bosnian: | A kad ugleda Mjesec kako izlazi, reče: "Ovo je Gospodar moj!" A pošto zađe, on reče: "Ako me Gospodar moj na Pravi put ne uputi, biću, sigurno, jedan od onih koji su zalutali." |
| Urdu: | پھر جب چاند کو چمکتا ہوا دیکھا کہا یہ میرا رب ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا تو کہا اگر مجھے میرا رب ہدایت نہ کرے گا تو میں ضرور گمراہوں میں سے ہوجاؤں گا |

| 78. | فَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّي هَـٰذَا أَكْبَرُ ۖ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Falamma raa alshshamsa bazighatan qala hatha rabbee hatha akbaru falamma afalat qala ya qawmi innee bareeon mimma tushrikoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | When he saw the sun rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sun set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to Allah. |
| Shakir: | Then when he saw the sun rising, he said: Is this my Lord? Is this the greatest? So when it set, he said: O my people! surely I am clear of what you set up (with Allah). |
| Pickthall: | And when he saw the sun uprising, he cried: This is my Lord! This is greater! And when it set he exclaimed: O my people! Lo! I am free from all that ye associate (with Him). |
| Mohsin Khan: | When he saw the sun rising up, he said: "This is my lord. This is greater." But when it set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners (in worship with Allah). |
| French: | Lorsqu'ensuite il observa le soleil levant, il dit: «Voilà mon Seigneur! Celui-ci est plus grand» Puis lorsque le soleil disparut, il dit: «O mon peuple, je désavoue tout ce que vous associez à Allah. |
| Spanish: | Cuando vio el sol que salía, dijo: «Éste es mi Señor! ¡Éste es mayor!». Pero, cuando se puso, dijo: «¡Pueblo! Soy inocente de lo que Le asociáis. |
| Indonesian: | Kemudian tatkala dia melihat matahari terbit, dia berkata: "Inilah Tuhanku, ini yang lebih besar", maka tatkala matahari itu telah terbenam, dia berkata: "Hai kaumku, sesungguhnya aku berlepas diri dari apa yang kamu persekutukan.

| Malay:: | Kemudian apabila dia melihat matahari sedang terbit (menyinarkan cahayanya), berkatalah dia: Inikah Tuhanku? Ini lebih besar. Setelah matahari terbenam, dia berkata pula: Wahai kaumku! Sesungguhnya aku berlepas diri (bersih) dari apa yang kamu sekutukan (Allah dengannya).

| German: | Als er dann die Sonne aufgehen sah, sagte er: "Das ist mein Herr. Das ist größer." Als sie aber unterging, sagte er: "O mein Volk, ich sage mich ja von dem los, was ihr (Ihm) beigesellt. |
| Russian: | Когда он увидел восходящее солнце, то сказал: «Вот мой Господь! Оно больше других». Когда же оно зашло, он сказал: «О мой народ! Я непричастен к тому, что вы приобщаете в сотоварищи. |
| Bosnian: | A kad ugleda Sunce kako se rađa, on uzviknu: "Ovo je Gospodar moj, ovo je najveće!" – A pošto zađe, on reče: "Narode moj, ja nemam ništa s tim što vi Njemu druge ravnim smatrate! |
| Urdu: | پھر جب آفتاب کو چمکتاہوا دیکھا کہا یہی میرا رب ہے یہ سب سے بڑا ہے پھر جب وہ غائب ہو گیا کہا اے میری قوم میں ان سے بیزار ہوں جنہیں تم الله کا شریک بناتے ہو |
