| 27. | أَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ بَنَاهَا |
| Yusuf Ali: | What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: |
| Shakir: | Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. |
| Pickthall: | Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? |
| Mohsin Khan: | Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He constructed? |
| Urdu: | کیا تمہارا بنانا بڑی بات ہے یا آسمان کا جس کو ہم نے بنایا ہے |

| 28. | رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا |
| Yusuf Ali: | On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. |
| Shakir: | He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. |
| Pickthall: | He raised the height thereof and ordered it; |
| Mohsin Khan: | He raised its height, and has perfected it. |
| Urdu: | ا سکی چھت بلند کی پھر اس کو سنوارا |

| 29. | وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا |
| Yusuf Ali: | Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). |
| Shakir: | And He made dark its night and brought out its light. |
| Pickthall: | And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Its night He covers with darkness and its forenoon He brings out (with light) |
| Urdu: | اور اس کی رات اندھیری کی اور اس کے دن کو ظاہر کیا |
