| 154. | وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Wala taqooloo liman yuqtalu fee sabeeli Allahi amwatun bal ahyaon walakin la tashAAuroona |
| Yusuf Ali: | And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. |
| Shakir: | And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive. |
| Pickthall: | And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, "They are dead." Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not. |
| Saheeh: | And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. |
| Urdu: | اور جو الله کی راہ میں مارے جائیں انہیں مرا ہوا نہ کہا کرو بلکہ وہ تو زندہ ہیں لیکن تم نہیں سمجھتے |
