169. | وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ |
Transliteration: | Wala tahsabanna allatheena qutiloo fee sabeeli Allahi amwatan bal ahyaon AAinda rabbihim yurzaqoona |
Yusuf Ali: | Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; |
Shakir: | And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their Lord; |
Pickthall: | Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision. |
Mohsin Khan: | Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision. |
Saheeh: | And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, |
Urdu: | اور جو لوگ الله کی راہ میں مارے گئے ہیں انہیں مردہ نہ سمجھو بلکہ وہ زندہ ہیں اپنے رب کے ہاں سے رزق دیے جاتے ہیں |
