86. | كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
Transliteration: | Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroo baAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna alrrasoola haqqun wajaahumu albayyinatu waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena |
Yusuf Ali: | How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust. |
Shakir: | How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Apostle was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not guide the unjust people. |
Pickthall: | How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and (after) they bore witness that the messenger is true and after clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) had come unto them. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. |
Mohsin Khan: | How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). |
Saheeh: | How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true and clear signs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. |
Urdu: | الله ایسے لوگوں کو کیونکر راہ دکھائے جو ایمان لانے کے بعد کافر ہوگئے اور گواہی دے چکے ہیں کہ بے شک یہ رسول سچا ہے اور ان کے پاس روشن نشانیاں آئی ہیں اور الله ظالموں کو راہ نہیں دکھاتا |

87. | أُولَـٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ |
Transliteration: | Olaika jazaohum anna AAalayhim laAAnata Allahi waalmalaikati waalnnasi ajmaAAeena |
Yusuf Ali: | Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of Allah, of His angels, and of all mankind;- |
Shakir: | (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all together. |
Pickthall: | As for such, their guerdon is that on them rests the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined. |
Mohsin Khan: | They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allah, of the angels, and of all mankind. |
Saheeh: | Those - their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all together, |
Urdu: | ایسے لوگوں کی یہ سزا ہے کہ ان پر الله اور فرشتوں اور سب لوگو ں کی لعنت ہو |

88. | خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ |
Transliteration: | Khalideena feeha la yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoona |
Yusuf Ali: | In that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);- |
Shakir: | Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited. |
Pickthall: | They will abide therein. Their doom will not be lightened, neither will they be reprieved; |
Mohsin Khan: | They will abide therein (Hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while). |
Saheeh: | Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. |
Urdu: | اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہوں گے ان سے عذاب ہلکا نہ کیا جائے گا اور نہ وہ مہلت دیے جائیں گے |
