| 88. | لَـٰكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ جَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرَاتُ ۖ وَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Lakini alrrasoolu waallatheena amanoo maAAahu jahadoo biamwalihim waanfusihim waolaika lahumu alkhayratu waolaika humu almuflihoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper. |
| Shakir: | But the Apostle and those who believe with him strive hard with their property and their persons; and these it is who shall have the good things and these it is who shall be successful. |
| Pickthall: | But the messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives. Such are they for whom are the good things. Such are they who are the successful. |
| Mohsin Khan: | But the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and those who believed with him (in Islamic Monotheism) strove hard and fought with their wealth and their lives (in Allah's Cause). Such are they for whom are the good things, and it is they who will be successful. |
| Saheeh: | But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the successful. |
| Urdu: | لیکن رسول اور جو لوگ ان کے ساتھ ایمان والے ہیں وہ اپنے مالوں اور جانوں سے جہاد کرتے ہیں اور انہیں لوگو ں کے لیے بھلائیاں ہیں اور وہی نجات پانے والے ہیں |
