71. | وَامْرَأَتُهُ قَائِمَةٌ فَضَحِكَتْ فَبَشَّرْنَاهَا بِإِسْحَاقَ وَمِن وَرَاءِ إِسْحَاقَ يَعْقُوبَ |
Transliteration: | Waimraatuhu qaimatun fadahikat fabashsharnaha biishaqa wamin warai ishaqa yaAAqooba |
Yusuf Ali: | And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed: But we gave her glad tidings of Isaac, and after him, of Jacob. |
Shakir: | And his wife was standing (by), so she laughed, then We gave her the good news of Ishaq and after Ishaq of (a son's son) Yaqoub. |
Pickthall: | And his wife, standing by laughed when We gave her good tidings (of the birth) of Isaac, and, after Isaac, of Jacob. |
Mohsin Khan: | And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed [either, because the messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lut (Lot)]. But We gave her glad tidings of Ishaq (Isaac), and after Ishaq, of Ya'qub (Jacob). |
Saheeh: | And his Wife was standing, and she smiled. Then We gave her good tidings of Isaac and after Isaac, Jacob. |
Urdu: | اور اس کی عورت کھڑی تھی تب وہ ہنس پڑی پھر ہم نے اسے اسحاق کے پیدا ہونے کی خوشخبری دی اور اسحاق کے بعد یعقوب کی |
