| 101. | وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ ۖ فَاسْأَلْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُ فِرْعَوْنُ إِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ مَسْحُورًا |
| Transliteration: | Walaqad atayna moosa tisAAa ayatin bayyinatin faisal banee israeela ith jaahum faqala lahu firAAawnu innee laathunnuka ya moosa mashooran |
| Yusuf Ali: | To Moses We did give Nine Clear Signs: As the Children of Israel: when he came to them, Pharaoh said to him: "O Moses! I consider thee, indeed, to have been worked upon by sorcery! |
| Shakir: | And certainly We gave Musa nine clear signs; so ask the children of Israel. When he came to them, Firon said to him: Most surely I deem you, O Musa, to be a man deprived of reason. |
| Pickthall: | And verily We gave unto Moses nine tokens, clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Do but ask the Children of Israel how he came unto them, then Pharaoh said unto him: Lo! I deem thee one bewitched, O Moses. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) nine clear signs. Ask then the Children of Israel, when he came to them, then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to him: "O Musa (Moses)! I think you are indeed bewitched." |
| Saheeh: | And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic." |
| Urdu: | اور البتہ تحقیق ہم نے موسیٰ کو نو کھلی نشانیاں دی تھیں پھر بھی بنی اسرائیل سےبھی پوچھ لو جب موسیٰ ان کے پاس آئے تو فرعون نے اسے کہا اے موسیٰ میں تو تجھے جادو کیا ہوا خیال کرتا ہوں |

| 102. | قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا أَنزَلَ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ إِلَّا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ بَصَائِرَ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا فِرْعَوْنُ مَثْبُورًا |
| Transliteration: | Qala laqad AAalimta ma anzala haolai illa rabbu alssamawati waalardi basaira wainnee laathunnuka ya firAAawnu mathbooran |
| Yusuf Ali: | Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!" |
| Shakir: | He said: Truly you know that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has sent down these as clear proof and most surely I believe you, O Firon, to be given over to perdition. |
| Pickthall: | He said: In truth thou knowest that none sent down these (portents) save the Lord of the heavens and the earth as proofs, and lo! (for my part) I deem thee lost, O Pharaoh. |
| Mohsin Khan: | [Musa (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth (as clear evidence i.e. proofs of Allah's Oneness and His Omnipotence.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir'aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction (away from all good)!" |
| Saheeh: | [Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed." |
| Urdu: | کہا یہ تو تجھے معلوم ہے کہ یہ آسمانوں اور زمین کے مالک ہی نے لوگوں کو سوجھانے کے لیے نازل کی ہیں اور بے شک میں تجھے اے فرعون ہلاک کیا ہوا خیال کرتا ہوں |

| 103. | فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ جَمِيعًا |
| Transliteration: | Faarada an yastafizzahum mina alardi faaghraqnahu waman maAAahu jameeAAan |
| Yusuf Ali: | So he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: but We did drown him and all who were with him. |
| Shakir: | So he desired to destroy them out of the earth, but We drowned him and those with him all together; |
| Pickthall: | And he wished to scare them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him, all together. |
| Mohsin Khan: | So he resolved to turn them out of the land (of Egypt). But We drowned him and all who were with him. |
| Saheeh: | So he intended to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him all together. |
| Urdu: | پھر اس نے ارادہ کیا کہ انہیں اس زمین سے نکال دے تب ہم نے اسے اور اس کے سب ساتھیوں کو غرق کر دیا |

| 104. | وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُوا الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا |
| Transliteration: | Waqulna min baAAdihi libanee israeela oskunoo alarda faitha jaa waAAdu alakhirati jina bikum lafeefan |
| Yusuf Ali: | And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, "Dwell securely in the land (of promise)": but when the second of the warnings came to pass, We gathered you together in a mingled crowd. |
| Shakir: | And We said to the Israelites after him: Dwell in the land: and when the promise of the next life shall come to pass, we will bring you both together in judgment. |
| Pickthall: | And We said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land; but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And We said to the Children of Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then, when the final and the last promise comes near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the descent of Christ ['Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) عليهما السلام on the earth], We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd (gathered out of various nations). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi,). |
| Saheeh: | And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering." |
| Urdu: | اور اس کے بعد ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے کہا کہ تم اس زمین میں آباد رہو پھر جب آخرت کا وعدہ آ ئے گا ہم تمہیں سمیٹ کر لے آئیں گے |
