| 39. | أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيرٌ |
| Transliteration: | Othina lillatheena yuqataloona biannahum thulimoo wainna Allaha AAala nasrihim laqadeerun |
| Yusuf Ali: | To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid;- |
| Shakir: | Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah is well able to assist them; |
| Pickthall: | Sanction is given unto those who fight because they have been wronged; and Allah is indeed Able to give them victory; |
| Mohsin Khan: | Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against, because they have been wronged; and surely, Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory - |
| Saheeh: | Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. |
| Urdu: | جن سے کافر لڑتے ہیں انہیں بھی لڑنے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے اس لیے کہ ان پر ظلم کیا گیا اور بیشک الله ان کی مدد کرنے پر قادر ہے |
