| 54. | وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا |
| Transliteration: | Wahuwa allathee khalaqa mina almai basharan fajaAAalahu nasaban wasihran wakana rabbuka qadeeran |
| Yusuf Ali: | It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). |
| Shakir: | And He it is Who has created man from the water, then He has made for him blood relationship and marriage relationship, and your Lord is powerful. |
| Pickthall: | And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever Powerful. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And it is He Who has created man from water, and has appointed for him kindred by blood, and kindred by marriage. And your Lord is Ever All-Powerful to do what He wills. |
| Saheeh: | And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]. |
| Urdu: | اوروہی ہے جس نے انسان کو پانی سے پیدا کیا پھر ا س کے لیے رشتہ نسب اور دامادی قائم کیا اور تیرا رب ہر چیز پر قادر ہے |
