| 83. | رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ |
| Transliteration: | Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqnee bialssaliheena |
| Yusuf Ali: | "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; |
| Shakir: | My Lord: Grant me wisdom, and join me with the good |
| Pickthall: | My Lord! Vouchsafe me wisdom and unite me to the righteous. |
| Mohsin Khan: | My Lord! Bestow Hukm (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous. |
| Saheeh: | [And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. |
| Urdu: | اے میرے رب مجھے کمال علم عطا فرما اور مجھے نیکیوں کے ساتھ شامل کر |

| 84. | وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ |
| Transliteration: | WaijAAal lee lisana sidqin fee alakhireena |
| Yusuf Ali: | "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); |
| Shakir: | And ordain for me a goodly mention among posterity |
| Pickthall: | And give unto me a good report in later generations. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And grant me an honourable mention in later generations. |
| Saheeh: | And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations. |
| Urdu: | اور آئندہ آنے والی نسلوں میں میرا ذکر خیر باقی رکھ |

| 85. | وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ |
| Transliteration: | WaijAAalnee min warathati jannati alnnaAAeemi |
| Yusuf Ali: | "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; |
| Shakir: | And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss |
| Pickthall: | And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight, |
| Mohsin Khan: | And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight. |
| Saheeh: | And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure. |
| Urdu: | اور مجھے نعمت کے باغ کے وارثوں میں کر دے |

| 86. | وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ |
| Transliteration: | Waighfir liabee innahu kana mina alddalleena |
| Yusuf Ali: | "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; |
| Shakir: | And forgive my father, for surely he is of those who have gone astray; |
| Pickthall: | And forgive my father. Lo! he is of those who err. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring. |
| Saheeh: | And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray. |
| Urdu: | اور میرے باپ کو بخش دے کہ وہ گمراہوں میں سے تھا |

| 87. | وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Wala tukhzinee yawma yubAAathoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;- |
| Shakir: | And disgrace me not on the day when they are raised |
| Pickthall: | And abase me not on the day when they are raised, |
| Mohsin Khan: | And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected. |
| Saheeh: | And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected - |
| Urdu: | اور مجھے ذلیل نہ کر جس دن لوگ اٹھائے جائیں گے |

| 88. | يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Yawma la yanfaAAu malun wala banoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, |
| Shakir: | The day on which property will not avail, nor sons |
| Pickthall: | The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man) |
| Mohsin Khan: | The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, |
| Saheeh: | The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children |
| Urdu: | جس دن مال اور اولاد نفع نہیں دے گی |

| 89. | إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ |
| Transliteration: | Illa man ata Allaha biqalbin saleemin |
| Yusuf Ali: | "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart; |
| Shakir: | Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). |
| Pickthall: | Save him who bringeth unto Allah a whole heart. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifaq (hypocrisy)]." |
| Saheeh: | But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." |
| Urdu: | مگر جو الله کے پاس پاک دل لے کر آیا |
