24. | فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُم مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ |
Transliteration: | Fain yasbiroo faalnnaru mathwan lahum wain yastaAAtiboo fama hum mina almuAAtabeena |
Yusuf Ali: | If, then, they have patience, the Fire will be a home for them! and if they beg to be received into favour, into favour will they not (then) be received. |
Shakir: | Then if they will endure, still the fire is their abode, and if they ask for goodwill, then are they not of those who shall be granted goodwill. |
Pickthall: | And though they are resigned, yet the Fire is still their home; and if they ask for favour, yet they are not of those unto whom favour can be shown. |
Mohsin Khan: | Then, if they bear the torment patiently, then the Fire is the home for them, and if they seek to please Allah, yet they are not of those who will ever be allowed to please Allah. |
Saheeh: | So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [Allah], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease. |
Urdu: | پس اگر وہ صبر کریں تو بھی ان کا ٹھکانہ آگ ہی ہے اور اگر وہ معافی چاہیں گے تو انہیں معافی نہیں دی جائے گی |
