81. | قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ |
Transliteration: | Qul in kana lilrrahmani waladun faana awwalu alAAabideena |
Yusuf Ali: | Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." |
Shakir: | Say: If the Beneficent Allah has a son, I am the foremost of those who serve. |
Pickthall: | Say (O Muhammad): If the Beneficent One hath a son, then, I shall be first among the worshippers. (But there is no son). |
Mohsin Khan: | Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "If the Most Gracious (Allah) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allah's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabari]. |
Saheeh: | Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." |
Urdu: | کہہ دو اگر الله کا بیٹا ہوتا تو سب سے پہلے میں عبادت کرتا |
