4. | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ |
Transliteration: | Inna allatheena yunadoonaka min warai alhujurati aktharuhum la yaAAqiloona |
Yusuf Ali: | Those who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding. |
Shakir: | (As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand. |
Pickthall: | Lo! those who call thee from behind the private apartments, most of them have no sense. |
Mohsin Khan: | Verily those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense. |
Saheeh: | Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason. |
Urdu: | بے شک جو لوگ آپ کو حجروں کے باہر سے پکارتے ہیں اکثر ان میں سے عقل نہیں رکھتے |

5. | وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
Transliteration: | Walaw annahum sabaroo hatta takhruja ilayhim lakana khayran lahum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun |
Yusuf Ali: | If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
Shakir: | And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
Pickthall: | And if they had had patience till thou camest forth unto them, it had been better for them. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. |
Mohsin Khan: | And if they had patience till you could come out to them, it would have been better for them. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
Saheeh: | And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. |
Urdu: | اور اگر وہ صبر کرتے یہاں تک کہ آپ ان کے پاس سے نکل کر آتے تو ان کے لیے بہتر ہوتا اور الله بخشنے والا نہایت رحم والا ہے |
