| 21. | أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْأُنثَىٰ |
| Transliteration: | Alakumu alththakaru walahu alontha |
| Yusuf Ali: | What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female? |
| Shakir: | What! for you the males and for Him the females! |
| Pickthall: | Are yours the males and His the females? |
| Mohsin Khan: | Is it for you the males and for Him the females? |
| Saheeh: | Is the male for you and for Him the female? |
| Urdu: | کیا تمہارے لیے بیٹے اور اس کے لیے بیٹیاں ہیں |

| 22. | تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَىٰ |
| Transliteration: | Tilka ithan qismatun deeza |
| Yusuf Ali: | Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair! |
| Shakir: | This indeed is an unjust division! |
| Pickthall: | That indeed were an unfair division! |
| Mohsin Khan: | That indeed is a division most unfair! |
| Saheeh: | That, then, is an unjust division. |
| Urdu: | تب تو یہ بہت ہی بری تقسیم ہے |
