| 11. | فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ |
| Transliteration: | Fafatahna abwaba alssamai bimain munhamirin |
| Yusuf Ali: | So We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth. |
| Shakir: | So We opened the gates of the cloud with water pouring |
| Pickthall: | Then opened We the gates of heaven with pouring water |
| Mohsin Khan: | So We opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring forth. |
| Saheeh: | Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down |
| Urdu: | پھر ہم نے موسلا دھار پانی سے آسمان کے دروازے کھول دیے |

| 12. | وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ |
| Transliteration: | Wafajjarna alarda AAuyoonan failtaqa almao AAala amrin qad qudira |
| Yusuf Ali: | And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed. |
| Shakir: | And We made water to flow forth in the land in springs, so the water gathered together according to a measure already ordained. |
| Pickthall: | And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And We caused springs to gush forth from the earth. So the waters (of the heaven and the earth) met for a matter predestined. |
| Saheeh: | And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined. |
| Urdu: | اور ہم نے زمین سے چشمے جاری کر دیے پھر جہاں تک پانی کا چڑھاؤ چڑھنا ٹھہر چکا تھاچڑھ آیا |
