13. | وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ |
Transliteration: | Wahamalnahu AAala thati alwahin wadusurin |
Yusuf Ali: | But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre: |
Shakir: | And We bore him on that which was made of planks and nails |
Pickthall: | And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails, |
Mohsin Khan: | And We carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails, |
Saheeh: | And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails, |
Urdu: | اور ہم نے نوح کو تختوں اور کیلوں والی کشتی پر سوار کیا |

14. | تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ |
Transliteration: | Tajree biaAAyunina jazaan liman kana kufira |
Yusuf Ali: | She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! |
Shakir: | Sailing, before Our eyes, a reward for him who was denied. |
Pickthall: | That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected. |
Mohsin Khan: | Floating under Our Eyes: a reward for him who had been rejected! |
Saheeh: | Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied. |
Urdu: | جو ہماری عنایت سے چلتی تھی یہ اس کا بدلہ تھا جس کا انکار کیا گیا تھا |
