| 1. | إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Transliteration: | Inna arsalna noohan ila qawmihi an anthir qawmaka min qabli an yatiyahum AAathabun aleemun |
| Yusuf Ali: | We sent Noah to his People (with the Command): "Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous Penalty." |
| Shakir: | Surely We sent Nuh to his people, saying: Warn your people before there come upon them a painful chastisement. |
| Pickthall: | Lo! We sent Noah unto his people (saying): Warn thy people ere the painful doom come unto them. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Verily, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people (saying): "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful torment." |
| Saheeh: | Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment." |
| Urdu: | بے شک ہم نے نوح کو اس کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا تھا کہ اپنی قوم کو ڈرا اس سے پہلے کہ ان پر دردناک عذاب آ پڑے |

| 2. | قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ |
| Transliteration: | Qala ya qawmi innee lakum natheerun mubeenun |
| Yusuf Ali: | He said: "O my People! I am to you a Warner, clear and open: |
| Shakir: | He said: O my people! Surely I am a plain warner to you: |
| Pickthall: | He said: O my people! Lo! I am a plain warner unto you |
| Mohsin Khan: | He said: "O my people! Verily, I am a plain warner to you, |
| Saheeh: | He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner, |
| Urdu: | اس نے کہا کہ اے میری قوم بے شک میں تمہارے لیے کھلم کھلا ڈرانے والا ہوں |

| 3. | أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
| Transliteration: | Ani oAAbudoo Allaha waittaqoohu waateeAAooni |
| Yusuf Ali: | "That ye should worship Allah, fear Him and obey me: |
| Shakir: | That you should serve Allah and be careful of (your duty to) Him and obey me: |
| Pickthall: | (Bidding you): Serve Allah and keep your duty unto Him and obey me, |
| Mohsin Khan: | "That you should worship Allah (Alone), fear (be dutiful to) Him, and obey me, |
| Saheeh: | [Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me. |
| Urdu: | کہ الله کی عبادت کرو اور اس سے ڈرو اور میرا کہا مانو |

| 4. | يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Transliteration: | Yaghfir lakum min thunoobikum wayuakhkhirkum ila ajalin musamman inna ajala Allahi itha jaa la yuakhkharu law kuntum taAAlamoona |
| Yusuf Ali: | "So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew." |
| Shakir: | He will forgive you some of your faults and grant you a delay to an appointed term; surely the term of Allah when it comes is not postponed; did you but know! |
| Pickthall: | That He may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Lo! the term of Allah, when it cometh, cannot be delayed, if ye but knew. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of Allah when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew." |
| Saheeh: | Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' " |
| Urdu: | وہ تمہارے لیے تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں ایک وقت مقرر تک مہلت دے گا بے شک الله کا وقت ٹھیرایا ہوا ہے جب آجائے گا تو اس میں تاخیر نہ ہوگی کا ش تم جانتے |

| 5. | قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Qala rabbi innee daAAawtu qawmee laylan wanaharan |
| Yusuf Ali: | He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day: |
| Shakir: | He said: O my Lord! surely I have called my people by night and by day! |
| Pickthall: | He said: My Lord! Lo! I have called unto my people night and day |
| Mohsin Khan: | He said: "O my Lord! Verily, I have called to my people night and day (i.e. secretly and openly to accept the doctrine of Islamic Monotheism), |
| Saheeh: | He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day. |
| Urdu: | کہا اے میرے رب میں نے اپنی قوم کو رات اور دن بلایا |
|
| 6. | فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَائِي إِلَّا فِرَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Falam yazidhum duAAaee illa firaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "But my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right). |
| Shakir: | But my call has only made them flee the more: |
| Pickthall: | But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance; |
| Mohsin Khan: | "But all my calling added nothing but to (their) flight (from the truth). |
| Saheeh: | But my invitation increased them not except in flight. |
| Urdu: | پھر وہ میرے بلانے سے اوربھی زيادہ بھاگتے رہے |
|
| 7. | وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Wainnee kullama daAAawtuhum litaghfira lahum jaAAaloo asabiAAahum fee athanihim waistaghshaw thiyabahum waasarroo waistakbaroo istikbaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance. |
| Shakir: | And whenever I have called them that Thou mayest forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, cover themselves with their garments, and persist and are puffed up with pride: |
| Pickthall: | And lo! whenever I call unto them that Thou mayst pardon them they thrust their fingers in their ears and cover themselves with their garments and persist (in their refusal) and magnify themselves in pride. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And verily, every time I called unto them that You might forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, and persisted (in their refusal), and magnified themselves in pride. |
| Saheeh: | And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance. |
| Urdu: | اور بے شک جب کبھی میں نے انہیں بلایا تاکہ تو انہیں معاف کر دے تو انہوں نے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں رکھ لیں اور انہوں نے اپنے کپڑے اوڑھ لیے اور ضد کی اوربہت بڑا تکبر کیا |

| 8. | ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Thumma innee daAAawtuhum jiharan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "So I have called to them aloud; |
| Shakir: | Then surely I called to them aloud: |
| Pickthall: | And lo! I have called unto them aloud, |
| Mohsin Khan: | "Then verily, I called to them openly (aloud). |
| Saheeh: | Then I invited them publicly. |
| Urdu: | پھر میں نے انہیں کھلم کھلا بھی بلایا |
|
| 9. | ثُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Thumma innee aAAlantu lahum waasrartu lahum israran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, |
| Shakir: | Then surely I spoke to them in public and I spoke to them in secret: |
| Pickthall: | And lo! I have made public proclamation unto them, and I have appealed to them in private. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "Then verily, I proclaimed to them in public, and I have appealed to them in private. |
| Saheeh: | Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly |
| Urdu: | پھر میں نے انہیں علانیہ بھی کہا اور مخفی طور پر بھی کہا |
|
| 10. | فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا |
| Transliteration: | Faqultu istaghfiroo rabbakum innahu kana ghaffaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "Saying, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving; |
| Shakir: | Then I said, Ask forgiveness of your Lord, surely He is the most Forgiving: |
| Pickthall: | And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord. Lo! He was ever Forgiving. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; |
| Saheeh: | And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. |
| Urdu: | پس میں نے کہا اپنے رب سے بخشش مانگو بے شک وہ بڑا بخشنے والا ہے |
|
| 11. | يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Yursili alssamaa AAalaykum midraran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'He will send rain to you in abundance; |
| Shakir: | He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain: |
| Pickthall: | He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain, |
| Mohsin Khan: | 'He will send rain to you in abundance, |
| Saheeh: | He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers |
| Urdu: | وہ آسمان سے تم پر (موسلا داھار) مینہ برسائے گا |
|
| 12. | وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Wayumdidkum biamwalin wabaneena wayajAAal lakum jannatin wayajAAal lakum anharan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water). |
| Shakir: | And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers. |
| Pickthall: | And will help you with wealth and sons, and will assign unto you Gardens and will assign unto you rivers. |
| Mohsin Khan: | 'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.'" |
| Saheeh: | And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. |
| Urdu: | اور مال اور اولاد سے تمہاری مدد کرے گا اور تمہارے لیے باغ بنادے گا اور تمہارے لیے نہریں بنا دے گا |
|
| 13. | مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Ma lakum la tarjoona lillahi waqaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah,- |
| Shakir: | What is the matter with you that you fear not the greatness of Allah? |
| Pickthall: | What aileth you that ye hope not toward Allah for dignity |
| Mohsin Khan: | What is the matter with you, that [you fear not Allah (His punishment), and] you hope not for reward (from Allah or you believe not in His Oneness). |
| Saheeh: | What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur |
| Urdu: | تمہیں کیا ہو گیا تم الله کی عظمت کا خیال نہیں رکھتے |
|
| 14. | وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Waqad khalaqakum atwaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages? |
| Shakir: | And indeed He has created you through various grades: |
| Pickthall: | When He created you by (divers) stages? |
| Mohsin Khan: | While He has created you in (different) stages [i.e. first Nutfah, then 'Alaqah and then Mudghah, see (V.23:13,14)]. |
| Saheeh: | While He has created you in stages? |
| Urdu: | حالانکہ اس نے تمہیں کئی طرح سے بنا یا ہے |
|
| 15. | أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا |
| Transliteration: | Alam taraw kayfa khalaqa Allahu sabAAa samawatin tibaqan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, |
| Shakir: | Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens, one above another, |
| Pickthall: | See ye not how Allah hath created seven heavens in harmony, |
| Mohsin Khan: | See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another? |
| Saheeh: | Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers |
| Urdu: | کیا تم نہیں دیکھتے کہ الله نے سات آسمان اوپر تلے (کیسے) بنائے ہیں |
|
| 16. | وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا |
| Transliteration: | WajaAAala alqamara feehinna nooran wajaAAala alshshamsa sirajan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp? |
| Shakir: | And made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp? |
| Pickthall: | And hath made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp? |
| Mohsin Khan: | And has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp? |
| Saheeh: | And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp? |
| Urdu: | اوران میں چاند کو چمکتا ہوا بنایا اور آفتاب کو چراغ بنا دیا |
|
| 17. | وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا |
| Transliteration: | WaAllahu anbatakum mina alardi nabatan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'And Allah has produced you from the earth growing (gradually), |
| Shakir: | And Allah has made you grow out of the earth as a growth: |
| Pickthall: | And Allah hath caused you to grow as a growth from the earth, |
| Mohsin Khan: | And Allah has brought you forth from the (dust of) earth? (Tafsir At-Tabari) |
| Saheeh: | And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. |
| Urdu: | اور الله ہی نے تمہیں زمین میں سے ایک خاص طور پر پیدا کیا |
|
| 18. | ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا |
| Transliteration: | Thumma yuAAeedukum feeha wayukhrijukum ikhrajan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'And in the End He will return you into the (earth), and raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)? |
| Shakir: | Then He returns you to it, then will He bring you forth a (new) bringing forth: |
| Pickthall: | And afterward He maketh you return thereto, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forthbringing. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Afterwards He will return you into it (the earth), and bring you forth (again on the Day of Resurrection)? |
| Saheeh: | Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction. |
| Urdu: | پھر وہ تمہیں اسی میں لوٹائے گا اور اسی میں سے (پھر) باہر نکالے گا |
|
| 19. | وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا |
| Transliteration: | WaAllahu jaAAala lakumu alarda bisatan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out), |
| Shakir: | And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse, |
| Pickthall: | And Allah hath made the earth a wide expanse for you |
| Mohsin Khan: | And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse. |
| Saheeh: | And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse |
| Urdu: | اور الله ہی نے تمہارے لیے زمین کو فرش بنایا ہے |
|
| 20. | لِّتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا |
| Transliteration: | Litaslukoo minha subulan fijajan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'" |
| Shakir: | That you may go along therein in wide paths. |
| Pickthall: | That ye may thread the valley-ways thereof. |
| Mohsin Khan: | That you may go about therein in broad roads. |
| Saheeh: | That you may follow therein roads of passage.' " |
| Urdu: | تاکہ تم اس کے کھلے راستوں میں چلو |
|
| 21. | قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Qala noohun rabbi innahum AAasawnee waittabaAAoo man lam yazidhu maluhu wawaladuhu illa khasaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss. |
| Shakir: | Nuh said: My Lord! surely they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children have added to him nothing but loss. |
| Pickthall: | Noah said: My Lord! Lo! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin; |
| Mohsin Khan: | Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but loss. |
| Saheeh: | Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. |
| Urdu: | نوح نے کہا اے میرے رب بے شک انہوں نے میرا کہنا نہ مانا اور اس کو مانا جس کو اس کے مال اور اولاد نے نقصان کے سوا کچھ بھی فائد نہں دیا |

| 22. | وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا |
| Transliteration: | Wamakaroo makran kubbaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. |
| Shakir: | And they have planned a very great plan. |
| Pickthall: | And they have plotted a mighty plot, |
| Mohsin Khan: | "And they have plotted a mighty plot. |
| Saheeh: | And they conspired an immense conspiracy. |
| Urdu: | اور انہوں نے بڑی زبردست چال چلی |

| 23. | وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا |
| Transliteration: | Waqaloo la tatharunna alihatakum wala tatharunna waddan wala suwaAAan wala yaghootha wayaAAooqa wanasran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- |
| Shakir: | And they say: By no means leave your gods, nor leave Wadd, nor Suwa; nor Yaghus, and Yauq and Nasr. |
| Pickthall: | And they have said: Forsake not your gods. Forsake not Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods: nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr' (these are the names of their idols). |
| Saheeh: | And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr. |
| Urdu: | اور کہا تم اپنے معبودوں کوہرگز نہ چھوڑو اور نہ ودّ اور سواع اور یغوث اور یعوق اورنسرکو چھوڑو |

| 24. | وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَالًا |
| Transliteration: | Waqad adalloo katheeran wala tazidi alththalimeena illa dalalan |
| Yusuf Ali: | "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." |
| Shakir: | And indeed they have led astray many, and do not increase the unjust in aught but error. |
| Pickthall: | And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong-doers in naught save error. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "And indeed they have led many astray. And (O Allah): 'Grant no increase to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers) save error.'" |
| Saheeh: | And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." |
| Urdu: | اور انہوں نے بہتوں کو گمراہ کر دیا اور (اب آپ) ان ظالموں کی گمراہی اور بڑھا دیجیئے |

| 25. | مِّمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنصَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Mimma khateeatihim oghriqoo faodkhiloo naran falam yajidoo lahum min dooni Allahi ansaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. |
| Shakir: | Because of their wrongs they were drowned, then made to enter fire, so they did not find any helpers besides Allah. |
| Pickthall: | Because of their sins they were drowned, then made to enter a Fire. And they found they had no helpers in place of Allah. |
| Mohsin Khan: | Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire. And they found none to help them instead of Allah. |
| Saheeh: | Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. |
| Urdu: | وہ اپنے گناہوں کے سبب سے غرق کر دیئے گئے پھر دوزخ میں داخل کیے گئے پس انہوں نے اپنے لیے سوائے الله کے کوئی مددگار نہ پایا |

| 26. | وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا |
| Transliteration: | Waqala noohun rabbi la tathar AAala alardi mina alkafireena dayyaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth! |
| Shakir: | And Nuh said: My Lord! leave not upon the land any dweller from among the unbelievers: |
| Pickthall: | And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. |
| Mohsin Khan: | And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! |
| Saheeh: | And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. |
| Urdu: | اور نوح نے کہا اے میرے رب زمین پر کافروں میں سے کوئی رہنے والا نہ چھوڑ |
|
| 27. | إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا |
| Transliteration: | Innaka in tatharhum yudilloo AAibadaka wala yalidoo illa fajiran kaffaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones. |
| Shakir: | For surely if Thou leave them they will lead astray Thy servants, and will not beget any but immoral, ungrateful (children) |
| Pickthall: | If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. |
| Mohsin Khan: | "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers. |
| Saheeh: | Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. |
| Urdu: | اگر تو نے ان کو چھوڑ دیا تو تیرے بندوں کو گمراہ کریں گے اور نسل بھی جو ہو گی تو فاجر اور کافر ہی ہو گی |

| 28. | رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا |
| Transliteration: | Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya muminan walilmumineena waalmuminati wala tazidi alththalimeena illa tabaran |
| Yusuf Ali: | "O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!" |
| Shakir: | My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who enters my house believing, and the believing men and the believing women; and do not increase the unjust in aught but destruction! |
| Pickthall: | My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin. |

| Saheeh: | My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction." |
