(111) And proclaim unto mankind the pilgrimage. They will come unto thee on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every deep ravine,

(112) And the camels! We have appointed them among the ceremonies of Allah. Therein ye have much good. So mention the name of Allah over them when they are drawn up in lines. Then when their flanks fall (dead), eat thereof and feed the beggar and the suppliant. Thus have We made them subject unto you, that haply ye may give thanks.

(113) Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not!

(114) So they denied them, and became of those who were destroyed.

(115) Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old?

(116) They will say: Be Thou Glorified! it was not for us to choose any protecting friends beside thee; but Thou didst give them and their fathers ease till they forgot the warning and became lost folk.

(117) Then he flung down his staff and it became a serpent manifest,

(118) And when the wizards came they said unto Pharaoh: Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?

(119) He said: (Behold) this she-camel. She hath the right to drink (at the well), and ye have the right to drink, (each) on an appointed day.

(120) So the retribution came on them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers.
