(91) Surely (as for) those who love that scandal should circulate respecting those who believe, they shall have a grievous chastisement in this world and the hereafter; and Allah knows, while you do not know.

(92) And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance.

(93) Besides Allah? can they help you or yet help themselves?

(94) He said: O chiefs! which of you can bring to me her throne before they come to me in submission?

(95) Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to hear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit.

(96) And when he came to the water of Madyan, he found on it a group of men watering, and he found besides them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What is the matter with you? They said: We cannot water until the shepherds take away (their sheep) from the water, and our father is a very old man.

(97) Said one of them: O my father! employ him, surely the best of those that you can employ is the strong man, the faithful one.

(98) Surely you cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He pleases, and He knows best the followers of the right way.

(99) Thus We made the earth to swallow up him and his abode; so he had no body of helpers to assist him against Allah nor was he of those who can defend themselves.

(100) Nay! those who are unjust follow their low desires without any knowledge; so who can guide him whom Allah makes err? And they shall have no helpers.
