(141) Say (to the disbelievers): "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!"

(142) And the Book (one's Record) will be placed (in the right hand for a believer in the Oneness of Allah, and in the left hand for a disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah), and you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners), fearful of that which is (recorded) therein. They will say: "Woe to us! What sort of Book is this that leaves neither a small thing nor a big thing, but has recorded it with numbers!" And they will find all that they did, placed before them, and your Lord treats no one with injustice.

(143) "And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.

(144) "And verily I fear my relatives after me, and my wife is barren. So give me from Yourself an heir.

(145) She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah."

(146) "O my father! Verily I fear lest a torment from the Most Gracious (Allah) should overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]

(147) Then We shall save those who used to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell).

(148) But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah).

(149) Allah said: "Grasp it and fear not; We shall return it to its former state,

(150) "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear (Allah)."
