(171) Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

(172) "The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh): Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?"

(173) He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me,

(174) "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me."

(175) "So I fled from you when I feared you. But my Lord has granted me Hukm (i.e. religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood), and made me one of the Messengers.

(176) When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

(177) "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

(178) "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me."

(179) When their brother Hud said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?

(180) "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.
