(41) And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased.

(43) Those who, should We establish them in the land, will keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and enjoin good and forbid evil; and Allah's is the end of affairs.

(44) My Lord: Grant me wisdom, and join me with the good

(45) And We have enjoined on man goodness to his parents, and if they contend with you that you should associate (others) with Me, of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, to Me is your return, so I will inform you of what you did.

(46) And they shall not have any intercessors from among their gods they have joined with Allah, and they shall be deniers of their associate-gods.

(47) And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming.

(48) O my son! keep up prayer and enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and bear patiently that which befalls you; surely these acts require courage;

(49) Say: Show me those whom you have joined with Him as associates; by no means (can you do it). Nay! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

(50) And the birds gathered together; all joined in singing with him.
